Dear Parents,
Next week at Liberty Academy, we will be celebrating Red Ribbon
Week. Throughout the next two weeks (October 22-31), the students will be
participating in activities that celebrate and promote physical and mental
wellness. This week is nationally designated as a Drug Awareness and Prevention
campaign to help raise awareness of the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol.

As a Parent Council, we would like to invite you - parents,
teachers, and families - to a workshop presented by Deputy Butters of Salem
City Police Department on Thursday, October 25 from 7-8 p.m. Liberty Academy.
Deputy Butters has been very supportive of our r.a.d.KIDS program, and we are
excited to have him come to speak to us. We hope you will join us for
his presentation and light refreshments afterwards. Attached to the email
is a flier for you to print off as a reminder of this event. (Please be
sure to look at it as it has more information.)
